In an official statement issued today, the Islamic Resistance announced that it successfully repelled an Israeli enemy infiltration attempt toward the Ali al-Taher heights, while affirming its continued adherence to the ceasefire and its readiness to confront any enemy effort to seize territory.

The Israeli enemy is once again resorting to false pretexts to justify its violation of the ceasefire an agreement it has never genuinely upheld, including the breaches it has been committing since last night and continuing through today.
The Islamic Resistance affirms that it has remained fully committed to the ceasefire since Friday evening, June 19, 2026, even as the enemy violated it from the very first moments. Nevertheless, the Resistance has maintained a state of vigilance and readiness to respond, given the enemy’s long record of treachery and betrayal.
Once again, under the cover of the ceasefire, the enemy launched an infiltration attempt last night toward the Ali al-Taher heights positions that have remained impregnable despite repeated efforts to seize them.
When the infiltrating infantry force, belonging to the enemy’s commando brigade, reached an ambush pre-positioned by Resistance fighters, our forces engaged them with appropriate weaponry, inflicting a confirmed number of casualties. In response, the enemy resorted to conducting intensive airstrikes both within and outside the area of operations, targeting—as is their custom—innocent civilians in an attempt to mask their military failure.
The Islamic Resistance declares that, while firmly adhering to the ceasefire, it will not hesitate to confront any attempt by the enemy to seize territory or expand its occupation. Our fighters remain vigilant and fully prepared to defend their land, their people, and their homeland with the valor of Karbala, honoring their covenant with God and their beloved nation, whatever the sacrifices may be.
