The Islamic Resistance issued on Thursday a statement that highlighted the new Israeli violation of the ceasefire in South Lebanon represented by the deliberate targeting of Lebanese civilians who were on their way to inspect their homes on the Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah–Maifadoun road, claiming that they posed a threat to its occupying forces.
The Islamic Resistance affirms that what the enemy has committed constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire, which it has adhered to until now, and that it is monitoring these violations, according to the statement.
What follows is the text of the statement:
The “Israeli” enemy army once again deliberately targeted Lebanese civilians who were on their way to inspect their homes on the Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah–Maifadoun road, claiming that they posed a threat to its occupying forces.
The treacherous attack, carried out at 14:40 by a missile strike launched from an enemy drone, resulted in the martyrdom of two civilian citizens who were directly targeted and the injury of a third.
For the third time, the Islamic Resistance affirms that what the enemy has committed constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire, which it has adhered to until now, and that it is monitoring these violations.
