Hezbollah called for a popular gathering in tribute of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
“On the occasion of the passing of the Imam of the Oppressed, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, we invite the public to participate in Lebanese and international gatherings held concurrently with the solemn funeral procession,” Hezbollah said in a statement
The event will take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 9:00 PM, in Beirut’s Ashura Square in the southern suburbs (Dahiyeh), according to the statement.

Iran has launched the first phase of seven-day of funeral ceremonies and processions for the martyred Leader, with foreign dignitaries and religious figures converging on Tehran’s Grand Mosalla to pay tribute in a display of national unity and international solidarity.
