Gaza Endures 738 Israeli Violations in 60 Days of Ceasefire, Humanitarian Crisis Worsens

Despite a formal ceasefire that Palestinian resistance factions have fully upheld, the Israeli enemy has continued its assault on Gaza, committing hundreds of violations that have left more than 1,300 Palestinians dead or wounded since the agreement took effect.

The Gaza Government Media Office reported on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation forces carried out 738 violations over the first 60 days of the ceasefire, keeping the enclave under a suffocating blockade and meeting only 38% of its minimum humanitarian commitments.

According to the statement, the Zionist enemy has engaged in “grave and systematic breaches” since the ceasefire began on 10 October 2025 through Monday evening—actions that constitute clear violations of international humanitarian law and a deliberate undermining of the agreement and its humanitarian protocol.

The government detailed the violations as follows:

  • 205 incidents of direct gunfire targeting civilians
  • 37 incursions by military vehicles into residential areas
  • 358 attacks and bombardments against unarmed civilians and their homes
  • 138 demolitions of homes, institutions, and civilian buildings

These actions resulted in the killing of 386 Palestinians and injury of 980 others, in addition to 43 unlawful arrests carried out by Israeli forces.

Humanitarian Commitments Undermined

The media office affirmed that the Israeli enemy failed to meet even the basic level of humanitarian aid agreed upon. Only 13,511 trucks entered Gaza out of the 36,000 that should have been allowed during the ceasefire period—an average of 226 trucks per day, compared with the daily quota of 600.

Fuel deliveries were even more restricted: Gaza received only 315 fuel trucks out of the 3,000 stipulated—just 10% of the agreed amount—averaging 5 trucks per day instead of 50. This left hospitals, bakeries, water facilities, and sanitation networks on the brink of shutdown, deepening the hardship faced by civilians across the Strip.

The media office warned that Israel’s continued violations amount to a dangerous circumvention of the ceasefire and an attempt to impose a humanitarian regime based on coercion, deprivation, and political pressure. It held Israel fully responsible for the worsening humanitarian situation, the rising death toll, and the destruction of civilian property.

The statement urged the international community, the United Nations, US President Donald Trump, and the parties sponsoring the agreement to uphold their legal and moral duties by compelling Israel to honor its commitments in full. It called for immediate measures to protect civilians and ensure the uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid and fuel as mandated by the ceasefire—steps deemed essential to confronting the ongoing catastrophe in Gaza.
