Bahrain’s al-Wahdawi observatory summed up human rights violations carried out by Al-Khalifa regime in the month of October.
In a report on Nationalist Democratic Assembly, the observatory said that October witnessed 59 arbitrary detention cases in several areas across Bahrain.
The number of court rulings issued in October reached 33, including 3 life sentences, 7 revocations of citizenship and one deportation case, the report said.
112 peaceful rallies took place in Bahrain during October, al-Wahdawi Observatory said, adding that the regime forces had suppressed six of them.
Meanwhile, the observatory said that Al-Khalifa regime stepped up crackdown on Shia processions commemorating Ashura, noting that the siege on Diraz town was still ongoing.
Several human rights activists were barred from traveling, according to al-Wahdawi.
