Lebanese President Michel Aoun said on Saturday that the first step in countering corruption is to name corrupt figures.
In a tweet on his personal account, President Aoun said: “The first step in fighting corruption is to name and clearly refer to the corrupt.”
He stressed, meanwhile, that generalizing accusation will be in the interest of corrupt people.
“But generalizing the accusation will be in their interest, because it will protect the real corrupt and mislead the public opinion.”
