The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Sunday its daily report in which it announced 2388 new coronavirus cases, 2345 of them for locals and 43 for the arrivals, raising total to 479501.
According to the report, 30 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 6409.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of Pfizer vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut on a weekly basis.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese authorities have decided a three-day total lockdown during the Easter holiday (April 3 – 5) in order to prevent any surge in the coronavirus cases.
