Thousands of civilians exited from eastern Aleppo neighborhoods after they had been besieged by the terrorist groups, SANA reported.

The Syrian state-run news agency added that the army and the competent authorities have worked to secure the civilians and move them towards temporary accommodation centers.

The Syrian army and allies had closely neared  on Monday the completion of the eastern Aleppo mission by regaining control over almost all the neighborhoods that had been held by the terrorist groups.
