Lebanon recorded on Saturday 104 new coronavirus cases and 4 related deaths, Ministry of Public Health announced.

In its daily report, the ministry said that 80 new infections were recorded among local residents, while the other 24 cases were imported, taking the total infections nationwide since February 2020 to 543,371.

4 new fatalities were registered over the past 24 hours, raising the nationwide death toll to 7,819, the ministry stated.

It put the number of active cases at 1948, noting that 13,965 PCR tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.

104 coronavirus patients have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours, including 61at the ICU rooms, 18 of whom are on ventilators, the report added.
