The Iranian embassy in Beirut on Saturday responded, in a statement, to the remarks of the US ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea, who provoked the Lebanese people against any fuel aid from Tehran.
The statement stressed that the arrival of the Iranian oil tankers in Beirut is not in need of the US ambassador’s banality (meaning her remarks), calling on her to stop interfering in the fraternal ties between Iran and Lebanon.
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah affirmed that the Party has accomplished all the administrative and logistic preparations for importing gasoline and fuel from Iran, noting that, when the state in Lebanon declare failure to address the crisis, the final order will be given to bring the Iranian fuel.
