Caretaker Minister of Public Health, Hamad Hasan, stressed “the necessity of removing the health issue from political scoring,” considering that tampering with the health of the citizen is tantamount to a massacre.
Hassan expressed his astonishment that “all representatives and influencers in the health and medicine sector are portrayed as angels, starting from the Central Bank to hospitals and importers, while the entire burden falls on the citizen as if he is the agent of the devil who should be punished.”
Hassan continued to emphasize, in an interview with Al-Jadeed Channel, that “the main reason for the medicine crisis lies in financial transfers.”
The Minister held the Central Bank and importing companies responsible for each missing medicine in the market.
