The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Tuesday its daily report in which it announced 1148 new coronavirus cases, 1132 of them for locals and 16 among the arrivals, raising total to 609189.
The report added that 19172 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 563521
According to the report, 15 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 8129.
Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.
