On the occasion of Iran’s victory in its defense against the Zionist entity’s barbaric attack against the citizens of the Islamic republic, Al-Manar hosted Dr. Seyed Mohammad Marandi, professor of English Literature at the university of Tehran, and advisor to Iran’s nuclear negotiations team in Vienna on June 29.
Dr. Marandi is most well known for appearing as a guest on many Western TV channels, most notably on “Piers Morgan Uncensored”, defaming the west’s cultural and military war against the only country in West Asia willing and able to resist their imperial dominance.
Dr. Marandi reflects on the influence of western narratives regarding the youth of Iran’s views on societal and political issues, and the role of western TV in the shaping of these narratives.
Dr. Marandi echoes the Iranian people’s pride for standing with the resistance and their support for Palestine, and expresses how the struggle that Iran and the axis of resistance experiences today will maintain their dignity and conscience in the long run.
Dr. Marandi describes how the arrogance of US presidents and administrations is reflective of its dying empire, and the similarities it has with the Zionist entity. He comments that a mentally unstable arrogant president such as Donald Trump is reflective of the US society today and how the axis of resistance should be vigilant of that as a sign of victory.
Dr Marandi speaks on the US’s failed ambitions to destroy Iran’s nuclear program while reflecting on the major changes happening in the region and in the Islamic republic in terms of shifting opinions against the US-Israeli hegemon.
