Lebanese President Michel Aoun received Prime Minister Najib Mikati this morning at the Presidential Palace I Baabda, and tackled with him general affairs.

PM Mikati briefed the President on the results of his meetings with recently formed ministerial committees which are tasked to follow-up on current issues, National News Agency reported.

In addition, PM Mikati discussed the content of his recent contacts with the International Monetary Fund, in preparation for negotiations to address the economic and financial situation, according to NNA.
