The Russian Foreign Ministry has summoned Ukraine’s Charge D’Affairs to lodge a protest over the attack on the Russian consulate in Lviv.

It described the attack as a “dangerous incident” by Ukrainian authorities, adding that Moscow expects Kiev to apologize for it.

According to the ministry, the attack on the consulate is a consequence of a Russophobic hysteria in Ukraine, incitement of hatred.
