Iranian Army is ready to export military equipment and weapons to friendly countries, a general said on Tuesday.
The Iranian Army managed to produce sophisticated long-range drones- on both combat and surveillance levels, that can be used in overseas operations, Iran’s army ground forces commander Kiumars Heydari said.
“Currently, we are ready to export military equipment and weapons to friendly countries,” Heydari was quoted as saying by the student-led news agency Young Journalists Club (YJC).
Last week the United States said such deliveries of Iranian-made (combat) drones to Russia were being prepared.
According to Jake Sullivan, US President Joe Biden’s national security adviser, the Iranian government is “preparing to provide Russia with up to several hundred unmanned aerial vehicles,” including those capable of carrying weapons, “on an expedited timeline.”
