Lebanon has insisted on its right to entire Qana oilfield and line 23 to demarcate the maritime borders with the Zionist entity.
According to Al-Manar TV sources, the Lebanese officials who met on Monday with the US mediator Amos Hochstein at Baabda Palace rejected any Zionist attempt to share Lebanon in Qana oilfield.
The sources added that Hochstein’s proposal was characterized by seriousness in light of the stance taken by the Lebanese Resistance in face of all the US-Israeli infringement attempts.
Hochstein proposed that he takes an open duration to get back the Israeli response to the Lebanese stance, but the Lebanese officials refused that and insisted on the US mediator to return to Beirut soon.
In this regard, Al-Manar sources mentioned that Hochstein would return to Lebanon in few days.
