Member of Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc, MP Hasan Fadlallah, stressed on Thursday that the European countries are responsible for some of the aspects on Lebanon’s ongoing crisis.

Holding a press conference at the parliament after the finance committee hosted the EU ambassadors to Lebanon, MP Fadlallah called on the European states must help the Lebanese cope with the Syrian refugees crisis.

“EU states cannot continue funding the Syrian refugees in Lebanon and preventing them from returning to their country without helping the Lebanese authorities.”

MP Fadlallah added that the EU delegation learned that Europe can help Lebanon overcome the economic siege by investing in the Lebanese maritime gas resources.

Hezbollah lawmaker added that the European states mus help the Lebanese restore the smuggled funds gained through corruption, adding that the EU delegation learned that Lebanon is committed to the cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.
