House Speaker Nabih Berri welcomed on Monday the Press Syndicate Council,, tackling the general situation and the latest developments.

Speaker Berri stressed that electing a new president is a top priority adding that he would call for a weekly parliamentary session to elect a new president.

Meanwhile, Speaker Berri indicated that the dialogue he intended to call for was aimed exclusively at reaching a consensus pertaining the presidential elections.

Speaker Berri added that all disputes in Lebanon were ended by dialogue as the case of Taif Pact and Doha agreement.
