Israeli occupation army said on Monday it struck a position in Gaza, claiming the attack was after a “projectile” fire from the Palestinian enclave.
“Initial inquiry suggests a projectile launched from the Gaza Strip landed in an open area,” an occupation army statement said, with no injuries reported.
In response, the army added, “an (Israeli) tank targeted a Hamas post in the northern Gaza Strip,” referring to Palestinian Resistance movement.
A security source from Hamas said two posts were targeted, causing no injuries.
