Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei warned on Monday against new schemes plotted by the United States against the region, stressing that the Islamic Republic is serious in confronting the enemies’ plots.

Addressing a group of Iranian citizens from Sistan and Baluchestan, and South Khorasan provinces, the Leader said there has been information that the US has formed a “crisis cell” tasked with instigation and creating crises.

“The US crisis cell has found that sectarian and national affiliations as well as the issue of woman are vulnerable affairs which it could instigate against,” Imam Khamenei stated.

According to the Leader such dreams by Iran’s enemies will never come true.

“The enemies are serious in their enmity and plotting, and we are also very serious in confronting them,” his eminence noted.

Imam Khamenei said that the world is on the verge of an evolution “which will lead to the undermine of hegemonic powers.”

“This transformation includes several issues, including the weakening of the world’s arrogant powers, he said, adding that arrogant powers such as the US and some European countries have weakened and will become weaker.”

“The emergence of new regional and global powers is another part of this global transformation,” the Leader added.
