Labib Dumaydi, a Palestinian resident of the village of Huwara, has been announced as a martyr following an Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) raid on his home. The confrontation between Dumaydi and the IOF erupted after the latter laid siege to his residential house. Dumaydi refused to surrender, and the ensuing battle resulted in his martyrdom. The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the news of the martyrdom on Thursday evening, bringing the number of Palestinian martyrs across the West Bank to four.

IOF claimed that Dumaydi was targeted for arrest after an earlier attack on an Israeli settler car with live fire.
In addition to the raid on Dumaydi’s home, dozens of paramilitary illegal settlers reportedly stormed the village of Huwara, violating the homes of Palestinians. This aggression left the Resistance with no choice but to stand up to the occupiers.
