In a relentless display of aggression, the Israeli occupation shows no signs of subsiding on the 101st day of its ruthless attacks against Gaza. Targeting multiple areas within the center and south of the Gaza Strip, the occupation’s raids intensified on the night that marked the end of 100 days of unyielding war. However, despite this prolonged assault, the occupation has yet to achieve its stated military objectives.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the number of casualties in the Gaza Strip has reached a devastating total of 23,968 martyrs and 60,582 wounded since October 7. Shockingly, 70 percent of these casualties are innocent children and women. The dire situation is compounded by the displacement of 900,000 residents, who now face the looming threats of famine, deadly epidemics, infectious diseases, and a lack of essential shelter. Their suffering is only amplified due to the closure of humanitarian and medical aid, leaving them vulnerable and in desperate need.
The Gaza Health Ministry has reported over 2,000 massacres committed by the occupation, with many victims still trapped underneath rubble and obstructed roads, hindering the efforts of ambulance and civil defense crews to reach them. One particularly alarming incident was the significant destruction inflicted upon the Al-Omari Mosque and its surrounding area in Jabalia Al-Balad, located in the north of the Gaza Strip.

However, amidst the chaos, the Palestinian resistance remains resolute in its defiance against the occupation forces that continue to infiltrate Gaza. Determined to retaliate against the crimes committed by Israeli soldiers within the Strip, the resistance continues to fight back, undeterred by the overwhelming military might of the occupiers.
It was on October 7 that the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, launched Operation Al-Aqsa Flood as a direct response to the Israeli occupation’s flagrant violations in the occupied Palestinian territories. In turn, the occupation initiated a military operation dubbed “Iron Swords” against the Gaza Strip. This relentless assault has resulted in the deaths of hundreds and the injury of thousands, in addition to the wanton destruction of numerous buildings, residential towers, institutions, and essential infrastructure.
The occupation’s relentless aggression shows no signs of abating, leaving the people of Gaza bracing themselves for the ongoing onslaught.
