Iraqi military sources announced that the security forces managed on Monday to liberate the police directorate headquarters and the courts complex in western Mosul, raising the national flag over them.

Iraqi military commander Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah had announced that the counterterrorism troops also regained the entire neighborhood of Sumud in western Mosul, raising the national flag over its buildings.

Yarallah added that the Iraqi forces also stormed Mansour neighborhood in the same area.
