Yemen has unveiled a powerful new ballistic missile that successfully struck the Israeli ship ‘MSC SARAH V’ in the Arabian Sea. The strike, carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces, showcases the country’s growing military capabilities.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, confirmed the precision hit on the Israeli ship using the newly deployed ballistic missile. The missile, which has been in development and testing, demonstrated its accuracy in hitting targets from long distances.
Saree emphasized that the operation was in support of the Palestinian people in response to the ongoing aggression in Gaza. This move also reflects Yemen’s commitment to defending itself against outside aggression, particularly from the United States and the United Kingdom.
Adding to their military actions, Yemen’s naval forces also targeted the vessel Transworld Navigator in the Red Sea using an unmanned surface vehicle, as well as the ship STOLT SEQUOIA in the Indian Ocean with cruise missiles. These operations were in response to violations by the owning companies of the two ships, who defied a ban on entry to ports in occupied Palestine imposed by the Yemeni Armed Forces.
With these actions, Yemen sends a strong message of solidarity with the Palestinian cause and vows to continue its military operations until the siege on Gaza is lifted and aggression against Yemen is halted.
