Palestinian resistance in Gaza launched on Monday its largest barrage of rockets at occupied territories in months, despite the ongoing genocide carried out by the Israeli occupation against people of the besieged enclave.
Israeli media reported rockets were fired from Gaza at settlements bordering the besieged territory, with Maariv Hebrew newspaper describing the rocket fire as “Unusual” and “the largest in months.”
Israeli occupation army said at least 20 rockets were fired from the Khan Younis area in the southern Gaza Strip at Israeli settlements bordering Palestinian territory in the barrage this morning.
Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad resistance group, announced its fighters fired rockets at Kissufim, Third Eye (Ein Hashlosha), Nirim, Sofa and Holit, stressing the attack was in retaliation to Israeli crimes against Palestinian people in Gaza.
Other Operations
Meanwhile on Monday, the group published video showing resistance fighters targeting Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles that have intruded into the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City with a barrage of mortar shells.

For its part, Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing declared its fighters managed to ambush an Israeli force in Rafah, where they detonated a booby-trapped building, inflicting heavy losses upon the occupation force.
Al-Qassam fighters also sniped an Israeli soldier who was positioned inside a house in Gaza’s Shujaiya, the group said on its Telegram Channel.
Also in Shujaiya, Al-Qassam targeted an Israeli force positioned inside a house in the Gazan neighborhood, with a TBG shell, according to the resistance group.
The occupation army announced that a soldier was killed and 10 others were injured, including 3 in serious condition, in an explosion of a booby-trapped tunnel in the Gaza Strip on Monday.
Earlier on Sunday, Al-Qassam Brigades released a video showing one of its operatives putting the finishing touches on weapons before their distribution.

In the clip, a man is filmed as he applies a coat of paint to dozens of 105mm Chinese HEAT projectiles along with labels reading in Arabic “guerrilla action device,” a name given by Hamas to a type of improvised anti-tank weapon.
The operative is then seen placing some of the devices inside black bags for transport. In the background appears a statement in Arabic: “Whoever seeks my extinction is looking for a phantom.”
Also in the background plays an Al-Jazeera clip of an ambush conducted by Hamas two weeks ago, according to Palestinian media reports. At the end of the video, the phrase “Our preparations continue” appears on the screen in Arabic.
Ongoing Aggression
On the other hand, the Israeli occupation went ahead with its brutal aggression against the besieged territory, with warplanes and artillery staging attacks against several areas across the Strip.
In central Gaza, there was intense Israeli artillery shelling in the eastern parts of Deir Al-Balah on Monday.
The ground invasion continued in Gaza City’s Shujaiya for the fifth consecutive day, amid continuous air aggression by warplanes.

Health Ministry in Gaza announced that at least 37,900 people have been martyred and 80,060 others have been wounded in the Israeli war on Gaza since October 7.
