The Lebanese caretaker government held on Wednesday an urgent session to evaluate the general situation and take the necessary stances and decisions in light of the Israeli aggression on Beirut’s Dahiyeh.
The Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression Tuesday on the Southern Suburb of Beirut, targeting a building near Bahman hospital in Haret Hreik.
Lebanon will file a complaint before the UN Security Council following the latest Israeli attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut (Dahiyeh), Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, announced following the urgent cabinet session at the Grand Serail.
“We do not want war,” he stressed. “The government efforts focus on diplomacy and the governmental plan is ready should a massive displacement take place in Lebanon,” he added.
He said that the government meetings will remain open.
After the session, a ministerial delegation inspected the scene of the attack, affirming repelling the Zionist aggression.
Minister of Education Abbas Al-Halabi stressed that Lebanon is being aggressed and that the Israeli aggression must be confronted.
