Two Gaza Hospitals on Brink of Shutdown
Two hospitals in northern Gaza have warned that they will be out of service due to shortages of fuel and medical supplies caused by Israel’s genocidal war on the besieged Palestinian territory.
The Indonesian and Kamal Adwan hospitals, both situated in Beit Lahia, announced on Monday that they will stop working as the occupying regime keeps up its brutal aggression and blockade on Gaza.
Overall, the death toll in Gaza since the start of the Israeli war in October has reached 40,972, with 94,761 Palestinians injured, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
Amid the ongoing genocide, a polio vaccination campaign in Gaza is progressing, with 69% of children aged from birth to 10 years already receiving the first dose of the vaccine. Health teams are facing challenges due to hostilities in the region but continue their efforts to vaccinate children in Gaza and North Gaza governorates.
