Hezbollah shot down a new Israeli Hermes 900 drone, the resistance group announced on Monday as it kept up strikes against Israeli gatherings, sites and settlements in the Zionist entity’s north.
Hezbollah’s Military Media declared several operations after midnight on Sunday, stressing they were “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in solidarity with their noble resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people.”
The first statement mentioned that the Air Defense Unit of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon shot down an Israeli Hermes 900 late on Sunday.
It’s the eighth Israeli medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) UAV to be downed by Hezbollah since the Lebanese resistance group opened the southern front in support of Gaza on October 8, 2023. Last week, the Hezbollah downed two Hermes 450 drones.
The second statement on Monday mentioned that the Islamic Resistance fighters launched a barrage of rockets targeting an Israeli artillery position in the so-called settlement of Odem.
The Islamic Resistance fighters then targeted Kiryat Shmona and Beit Hillel with salvos of rockets, according to the third and fourth statements.
Hezbollah fighters also targeted Israeli gathering at the Israeli site of Al-Malkiyeh, employing rockets the fifth statement read.
The seventh statement mentioned that the Islamic Resistance fighters struck Beit Hillel base anew, targeting an artillery position there with a barrage of rockets.
Hezbollah fighters also targeted Israeli gatherings at the outskirts of Lebanese border towns of Markaba (the eastern neighborhood), Maroun Al-Ras (Kheil Height) and Ayta Al-Shaab (Khallet Warde), according to the sixth, eighth and ninth statements.
At 8:15 AM, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Israeli gathering at eastern outskirts of Markaba Lebanese border town with a massive barrage of rockets, the tenth statement on Monday read. Later at 9:15 AM, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Israeli enemy soldiers in the same area for the second time, resulting in confirmed casualties, according to the twelfth statement. At 10:10, and as the Israeli soldiers were attempting to evacuate the casualties of the previous attacks, Hezbollah fighters hit them anew with a barrage of rockets, the fourteenth statement mentioned. The fifteenth statement noted that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted, at 10:50 AM, an Israeli gathering in the area for the third time on Monday.
At 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM, the Hezbollah fighters targeted the Kela barracks in the occupied Syrian Golan and Ma’alout Tarshiha settlement with salvos of rockets, according to the eleventh and thirteenth statements.
Later at 12:15 PM, the Islamic Resistance fighters shelled Israeli soldiers who were spotted moving at Kfar Kila crossing with artillery projectile, the sixteenth statement read.
Hezbollah fighters then, at 1:30 PM, launched a large barrage of rockets, targeting Israeli soldiers the area between Rub Al-Thalatheen, Markaba and Adaisseh towns, according to the seventeenth statement.
Few minutes later, at 1:45 PM, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Camp 100, north of Ayelet HaShahar with a massive barrage of rockets, the eighteenth statement read.
Hezbollah fighters then, at 2:10 PM, targeted Karmiel settlement with a salvo of rockets, according to the nineteenth statement.
The Islamic Resistance fighters also bombed the site 2222 in Al-Sheikh Mount (also known as Mount Hermon) with a barrage of rockets at 2:50 PM, the twentieth statement mentioned.
The twenty-first statement affirmed that, while “Israeli” warplanes violated the sound barrier over the Zahrani area in southern Lebanon, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in the air defense units launched surface-to-air missiles at the hostile aircraft on Monday, October 21, 2024, forcing them to leave Lebanese airspace.

According to the thirty-first statement, the Islamic Resistance targeted Glilot base, headquarters of military intelligence unit 8200, with precision missiles.
