Member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance bloc MP Amin Sherri firmly denied on Saturday that the Israeli strike on Beirut’s Al-Basta targeted a Hezbollah figure, noting that the brutal attack which killed or injured dozens in the Lebanese capital is only aimed at terrifying the Lebanese citizens.
As he visited the scene of the Israeli strike, MP Sherri said: “This is the eighth attack on Beirut (since the start of the war on September 23). No military target was hit in all of these attacks.”
“Neither a military figure nor an individual who is affiliated with any political party was targeted in any of the two destroyed buildings,” the lawmaker affirmed.

He saluted the people who have been displaced from the unsafe regions across Lebanon to the capital Beirut.
“These attacks will never break the will of our people,” MP Sherri stressed.
He noted, meanwhile, that the real confrontation is in south Lebanon, with the resistance fighters, rather than the systematic killings of civilians.
Massive Israeli strike that employed bunker busting bombs on Beirut’s Al-Basta area killed or injured dozens of people at dawn on Saturday.
