Lebanese southerners, along with the Lebanese Army, proceed for third day liberating their towns that were occupied by Israeli occupation forces during the 66-day Israeli aggression.
On Tuesday, citizens and Lebanese Army units entered the western outskirts of Yaroun, as the Red Cross teams got into the border town to recover bodies of martyrs who fell during the latest Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
The national army units also managed to deploy in Yaroun’s old neighborhood, Al-Manar correspondent reported, adding that work to open the road leading to the village’s public square was in progress.
An Israeli drone dropped a bomb towards a gathering of people in Yaroun, local media reported.

In Aytaroun and Blida, Israeli occupation forces set earthen barriers to hinder the advance of citizens who were waiting for the Lebanese Army units to open the road and deploy in the area.

Elsewhere in Kfar Kila, the citizens gathered on Al-Khardali road, near the town, to protest the ongoing Israeli occupation of the border village, a day after Israeli enemy troops carried out explosions in the area.
In the border town of Al-Wazzani, Israeli occupation forces carried out more explosions as they prevented the citizens from entering the village by setting earthen barrier at its entrance.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces freed six citizens who were arrested last Sunday: Hasan Hujeij, Hussein Mustafa, Ali Mazraani, Jihad Hussein as well as Ahmad Rizk and his son Mustafa Rizk.
The southern border towns witnessed epic scenes on Sunday as the Lebanese citizens flocked to their towns and entered them along with Lebanese Army units, as the 60-day deadline for the Israeli withdrawal from the area expired, before being extended till February 18.
The Israeli occupation forces killed at least 22 Lebanese citizens, including six women, and injured 123 others on Sunday. Two more people were martyred on Monday, as the Lebanese citizens continue to head for their towns in a bid to force the Israeli enemy to withdraw.
Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem hailed s heoirc the popular movement which took place on Sunday and Monday, stressing in a televised address on Monday that the Lebanese resistance group condemns the extension of the deadline for Israeli occupation forces to withdraw.
