The leaderships of Hezbollah and Amal Movement categorically rejected on Thursday the stay of the Israeli occupation forces in any are of the Lebanese territory.
In a statement issued following a joint meeting, the national Shiite duo denounced the continued Israeli violation of the Lebanese airspace and territories.
They called on the countries sponsoring the ceasefire agreement to coerce the Zionist entity in a bid to adhere by the deal and implement the provisions of UN Resolution 1701.

The Israeli violations “are in the hands of the international community and the countries sponsoring the ceasefire agreement,” the statement read.
The sponsor countries “must move immediately to compel ‘Israel’ to implement the provisions of Resolution 1701, withdraw from all Lebanese territory, curb its aggression against the Lebanese, and stop its violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty,” Hezbollah and Amal leadership stressed.
The national duo also stressed the “necessity of considering the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the Israeli aggression, including homes, health, educational, economic, industrial and agricultural facilities, as well as the acceleration of compensation to those affected, as a priority on the agenda of the new government.”
