The Israeli occupation army has launched ground operations in Tal Sultan, Rafah, and Beit Hanoun, citing efforts to “target Hamas infrastructure and expand the security zone.”
This escalation comes as the Zionist war cabinet approved a proposal by War Minister Israel Katz to establish a “special directorate” aimed at facilitating the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza, aligning with a vision endorsed by US President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 35 Palestinians since early Sunday, with intense bombardment targeting Khan Younis and Rafah, leveling homes and makeshift shelters.
Plan to Displace Gazans
The Israeli War Ministry announced the creation of a directorate to oversee what it calls the “voluntary relocation” of Gazans to third countries. Katz claimed the Israeli entity is “working to implement the US president’s vision” and will allow those who wish to leave to do so. The entity will operate under his direct supervision, coordinating with international organizations to establish designated crossings and transportation routes.
Ongoing Attacks and Humanitarian Crisis
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that Israeli strikes have killed at least 40 people since last night, with hospitals in Khan Younis overwhelmed. The government in Gaza warned that “over 2.4 million Palestinians face an unprecedented catastrophe amid ongoing genocide.”
Israeli occupation forces continue to shell northern Gaza, including Beit Hanoun and Jabalia, while issuing evacuation orders for Tal Sultan in Rafah. A drone strike killed a Palestinian in Rafah’s Al-Nasr neighborhood, and at least eight people were killed when a home was bombed in Al-Jenina.

The Red Crescent reported that Israeli forces surrounded ambulances near Rafah’s Al-Hashashin area, injuring several medics and cutting communication with the rescue team. Meanwhile, Gaza’s Civil Defense lost contact with its crew attempting to aid a Red Crescent team struck by Israeli fire in Rafah.

Israeli enemy warplanes also targeted a home in western Khan Younis, killing a woman and child, while another airstrike on a displacement camp in Al-Mawasi killed a child from the Abu Jazar family. Bombings in central Gaza’s Al-Bureij refugee camp continued overnight.
