US aircraft raided the Yemeni city of Hodeidah this evening, targeting the Ras Isa oil port, before targeting it again, coinciding with firefighting operations and recovering victims.
The Health Office in the Yemeni province of Hodeidah reported that 40 workers, employees, and paramedics were killed and 102 injured in the US raids on the Ras Isa port in western Yemen.
Commenting on the US raids, the Sana’a government affirmed “Yemen’s legal right to defend itself” and held the US administration responsible for the repercussions of its escalation in the Red Sea.

The Yemeni government in Sana’a indicated that Yemen’s support operations “have continued, and have been 100% successful in preventing Israeli shipping from the Red Sea.”
The government dismissed American claims attempting to justify the airstrikes as “false and misleading,” reiterating that the attack on Ras Issa port constitutes a severe violation of international law and a “war crime” that will not go unpunished.
In a related context, several Yemeni cities witnessed successive Israeli airstrikes on Thursday evening.
The American aggression targeted the government complex in the Mukayras district, south of Al-Bayda Governorate, central Yemen, with three airstrikes.
US aircraft also launched two airstrikes in Sana’a Governorate, targeting the Al-Sama’ area in the Arhab district, north of the capital.
