The Israeli occupation forces have intensified their military campaign in Gaza, marking 62 consecutive days of renewed operations and more than 590 days since the conflict first erupted.
The escalation follows Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to pull out of a proposed ceasefire deal, as the Israeli enemy continues to receive strong political and military support from the United States. The offensive comes amid growing frustration over the lack of action from the international community and neighboring Arab nations.
Widespread Bombardment and Mounting Casualties
According to Palestinian sources, Israeli occupation forces carried out dozens of airstrikes across the enclave on Sunday. The attacks coincide with severe restrictions on the entry of basic food supplies since early March, exacerbating famine-like conditions among Gaza’s population.
More than 102 people were reported killed since midnight in various parts of the Strip. Early Sunday, an airstrike on a home belonging to the Shuqlaq family in Al-Faluja, northern Gaza, killed three people and injured others.
