Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that continued Israeli aggression would be met with a harsher and more forceful response by Iran’s armed forces.
In a phone call with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday, Pezeshkian expressed gratitude for Islamabad’s position during Friday night’s UN Security Council session, praising Pakistan’s stance as principled and courageous.
Pezeshkian strongly criticized Western powers, particularly the United States, for enabling Israel’s continued violations of international law.
“Those who claim to defend human rights are not only supporting the Zionist regime’s aggression but also encouraging its inhumane actions by providing it with weapons and military equipment,” he said.
He condemned Israel’s reliance on Western support to defy international norms, emphasizing that “even war has rules,” which the regime has repeatedly violated.
The president defended Iran’s right to retaliate against Israeli attacks, stating, “Had the Islamic Republic been incapable of defending itself against this criminal, child-killing regime, we would be witnessing daily attacks on our territory and massacres of our people and scholars.”
Pezeshkian also accused the United States of complicity, saying the coordination between Washington and ‘Tel Aviv’ in violating Iranian sovereignty during ongoing negotiations reveals the falsehood of American claims and its lack of credibility.

Pakistan Expresses Solidarity with Iran
During the same call, Prime Minister Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for Iran, condemning Israel’s actions as flagrant violations of international law.
He expressed condolences for the loss of Iranian civilians, officials, and scientists in recent Israeli strikes and voiced hope for the restoration of peace.
Sharif also criticized the international community’s silence, noting that Israel continues its transgressions without accountability. He stressed Pakistan’s readiness to assist Iran in facilitating the return of Iranian pilgrims and asked President Pezeshkian to convey his greetings to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
Iranian Army Pledges Continued Retaliation
Iran’s newly appointed Army Commander, Major General Amir Hatami, reaffirmed the military’s commitment to respond decisively to Israeli attacks.
In a message to Commander-in-Chief Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei on the occasion of Eid Al-Ghadir and his recent appointment, Hatami emphasized the army’s unwavering dedication to defending Iran’s sovereignty.
“From the outset of the Zionist regime’s aggression, the Iranian army has taken a firm stand, and it will continue delivering powerful blows to this illegitimate, criminal entity,” he stated.

General Shadmani: Operations Will Continue Until ‘Israel’ Regrets Its Actions
Major General Ali Shadmani, newly appointed commander of Iran’s Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, declared that Iran’s military operations against the Israeli enemy would intensify until the regime experiences full remorse.
Speaking to reporters, Shadmani stressed that Iran’s armed forces remain fully prepared and will maintain pressure through successive operations.
“This is a direct response to the Zionist regime’s crimes. The Islamic Republic will not cease until deterrence is fully achieved and the enemy retreats,” he stated.
