In a televised address to the Iranian nation on Wednesday, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei reaffirmed the country’s steadfastness, declaring that “the Iranian nation will resist both an imposed war and an imposed peace, and it will not surrender to anyone.”
Ayatollah Khamenei commended what he described as the Iranian people’s “resolute, courageous, and wise stance” against the latest “malicious and foolish” Israeli aggression, calling it a clear sign of the nation’s “maturity, rational strength, and spiritual depth.”
The Zionist regime’s malicious attack on our country took place at a time when Iranian officials were indirectly engaged in negotiations with the US side. There was no indication on the part of Iran that signaled a military move.

Warning to the US
Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei also responded sharply to recent US rhetoric, describing President Donald Trump’s threats as “foolish and unserious.” His Eminence stressed that those familiar with Iran’s history and character “know never to speak to this nation in the language of threats.”
“The Iranian people will not yield,” Ayatollah Khamenei asserted. “The Americans must understand that any military intervention will inevitably bring irreparable consequences.”
His Eminence concluded with a firm warning, “Let it be clear to the Americans—the Iranian nation neither yields nor fears. Any military action will be met with an irreparable blow.”
