Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi deplored the biased stances adopted by some European states in justification of the Israeli and US war of aggression against Iran, warning that such policies will normalize law-breaking and intensify insecurity in the world.
In a telephone conversation on Saturday, Araghchi discussed with his Swiss counterpart Ignazio Cassis regional developments and bilateral relations.
The top Iranian diplomat referred to the military aggression by the Zionist regime and the US against Iran in mid-June, describing it as a blatant violation of the principles of the UN Charter and international law, Tasnim news agency reported.

He stressed the need for all countries to take a firm stance against aggression, condemn the clear breach of international law, and hold aggressors accountable.
Aragchi slammed biased stances taken by some European countries on the Zionist regime and US attacks on Iran as well as their efforts to justify the acts of aggression. He warned that such behavior leads to the normalization and promotion of lawlessness and increases insecurity in the region and the world.
The Swiss foreign minister, for his part, reaffirmed Switzerland’s commitment to diplomacy and its readiness for good offices in this regard.
Cassis described the military attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities as a violation of international law. He also underscored the importance of continued efforts to prevent further escalation and instability.
