Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said on Thursday that initial date of the coming round of Astana talks on Syrian has been set on June 20 after it was scheduled for June 12-13.
Bogdanov told reporters that the Astana meeting has been postponed initially to June 20, and that there is intensive work to check some details and prepare relevant documents to be ready in Astana, noting that the date was pushed back following contact with the other guarantor states of the de-escalation memorandum, Turkey, Iran and hosting Kazakhstan.
