Hamas denounced on Saturday a Saudi newspaper’s labeling the Palestinian movement as “terrorist.”
In a statement, Hamas considered that the Riyadh newspaper’s label distorts the reputation and the struggle of the Palestinian people and resistance against the Zionist occupation and serves the interests of Palestine’s enemies.
“It is unfortunate that such labels are issued by Arab media outlets in the capital of KSA.”
The statement called for banning such labels, adding that Saudi has always ‘supported the Palestinian people’.
Riyadh newspaper in its Friday’s edition has headlined that “Terrorist Hamas will attend Iran President Hasan Rouhani’s inauguration.”
