Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the UN special envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed held a meeting in Tehran on the Yemen crisis.
During the Saturday talks, Zarif and Ould Cheikh Ahmed discussed the latest developments in Yemen.
They particularly underlined the need to end the humanitarian disaster in the Arab country and find comprehensive political solutions to the crisis.
The UN envoy also held talks with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari, during which the two sides discussed new initiatives aimed at putting an end to the crisis in the Arab country.
