As a result of monitoring and follow up of terrorist elements inside Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp, Lebanese Army intelligence unit arrested the wanted Palestinian, Bahaeddine Mahmoud Hujeir, for belonging to the terrorist Organization “Abdullah Azzam Brigades”, army command said in a communiqué.
The detained Palestinian was also arrested for his relation with the two suicide bombers who targeted the Iranian Embassy in Bir Hassan.
The arrested Palestinian was recently active in favor of the terrorist organization “ISIL” and was planning to carry out a security operation outside the Ain Hilweh camp, communiqué added.
Interrogation of the detainee was initiated under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
