Deputy Head of Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps blasted the United States and Israel over the terror attack on a military parade in southern Iran on Saturday, which claimed the lives of 25 people.
In a televised speech on Monday before the funeral of the victims in Ahvaz, General Hossein Salami vowed be crushing and devastating revenge for the deadly attack.
“You have seen our revenge before… You will see that our response will be crushing and devastating and you will regret what you have done,” Hossein Salami said.
Earlier on Sunday the Revolutionary Guards issued a statement promising “deadly and unforgettable” retaliation against attackers at the military parade.
On Saturday, armed terrorists opened fire at a military parade, leaving at least 25 people dead, including 12 members of the IRGC, , and injuring another 60, according to media reports.
