Two Israelis were killed and another was wounded on Sunday in a shooting near an industrial zone adjacent to a West Bank settlement.
Israeli media first reported that the shooting injured three Israelis, noting that two of them were in critical condition. The two injured then were pronounced dead.
Israeli media also said that the suspected shooter is a 23-year-old Palestinian who fled the scene.
The enemy radio reported that he was a former factory worker from Qalqilya who was fired two months ago.
Occupation army spokesman Jonathan called it a “terrorist attack” but added that other unspecified factors were involved.
The Palestinian used a homemade gun in the attack, known locally as a Carlo, according to Conricus, who said it appeared it was a “lone-wolf attack”.
Occupation forces were searching for the suspected perpetrator, Conricus added.
