The spokesman of the committee of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Ahmad al-Asadi asserted that the Iraqi troops will not let ISIL terrorists in Mosul to exit towards Syria’s eastern city province of Raqqa.
Al-Asadi added that one of the reasons of delaying Mosul battle is accumulating the necessary logistics to house the city’s civilians who will be displaced after starting the confrontation with ISIL terrorists in the last bastion of the terrorist group in Iraq.
Al-Asadi also warned against the rumors which raised Mosul locals from PMF’s role in the battle.
Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah had urged the Iraqi army and PMF to strike ISIL terrorist in Mosul and prevent them from exiting into the Syrian province Raqqa in order to frustrate the US deceptive scheme of accumulating the takfiri militants in eastern Syria.
During his Ashura speech on Wednesday, Sayyed Nasrallah said that accumulating ISIL terrorists in Raqqa helps the takfiri group to endanger both Iraq and Syria simultaneously.
