Some 500 passengers were evacuated from a regional train in Germany on Friday due to a bomb threat, police said.

All passengers were evacuated safely in Frankfurt and no injuries have been reported, police said on Twitter.

Two platforms at the Frankfurt South station were closed off by the police while the searches were carried out.
