Government Commissioner to the Military Court, Judge Saqr Saqr, on Friday pressed charges against 8 persons, including 7 detainees, over affiliation to Nusra Front and attempts at carrying out terror acts, NNA field reporter said.

He referred the detainees to the First Military Investigation Magistrate, Riad Abou Ghaida.

In the context of thorough detection and surveillance to control security and stability, the General Security managed to arrest a Lebanese and six Syrians for forming a terrorist cell serving terrorist organizations and groups, according to a statement issued by General Security Directorate on Friday.

The General Security also managed to seize a big quantity of weapons that the Lebanese arrestee used to hide in his house. Investigations with them are still on track under the supervision of competent judiciary.
