Several Palestinians were injured on Saturday during clashes with Israeli occupation soldiers when they raided the villages of Beita and Burin in the southern Nablus district of the northern occupied West Bank.
Palestinian Maan news agency quoted medical sources as saying that at least three Palestinians were injured in the village of Beita south of Nablus city, when occupation forces fired tear gas bombs and rubber bullets at them.
The three were reported as moderately injured and taken to the hospital, where their conditions were later reported as being stable.
A resident of Beita was also reportedly detained by occupation forces during the clashes, but was later handed over to Palestinian security forces in Nablus.
Local sources from Burin told Maan that Israeli forces raided the village of Burin and fired tear gas at residents during clashes that lasted for two hours.
Palestinian Red crescent crews arrived to the village and provided first aid after several residents were injured during the clashes, some of whom were identified as Shahd Assous, Hala Assous, Alaa Assous, Bilal Dakheel Eid and Mohammad Raja Eid, according to Maan.
Israeli forces have come under repeated criticism for excessive use of force, as well as lethal methods of crowd control that often result in death or injury of protesters.
