Israeli occupation authorities have eased restrictions on Jewish prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque, Hebrew media reported on Sunday.
Occupation police allowed the Jewish settlers to ascend the holy site in occupied Al-Quds with the prayer books, Haaretz reported, citing a right-wing journalist and activist seeking to expand so-called “Jewish religious freedom” at the Muslim site.

Towels can be seen on the ground in front of the men, indicating the inclusion of prostration in Jewish ritual worship, according to Haaretz.
“Still no explicit permit but a first try to make sure the Middle East doesn’t lose its mind over this,” Segel posted, calling the event “historic.”
The compound is administered by the Jordanian Waqf, meaning the moves violate the Status Quo agreement.
A few months ago, Israeli occupation police allowed Jewish settlers to bring prayer sheets into the compound.
