Haaretz: No Tech Solution; Israeli Enemy Army Turns to Fishing Nets Against Hezbollah Drones

The Israeli enemy army has admitted it has no technological solution to counter Hezbollah’s fiber-optic drones, forcing troops to resort to fishing nets as makeshift protection, according to a report published by Haaretz.

Fish farms belonging to kibbutzim in the valley have begun supplying troops with fishing nets not for catching trout and mullet, but for use against drone attacks. The report, cleared for publication after military censorship, quoted a senior official in the ground forces reserve as saying, “There is still no technological solution to counter fiber-optic drones.” The official added that pushing Hezbollah back to the Litani River is futile, given that these drones can be launched from up to 60 kilometers away.

Haaretz further quoted the military official as saying the army is “handcuffed” by the policies of both Netanyahu and Trump, with current operations limited to the destruction of villages by private contractors. He also warned of a severe shortage of soldiers and officers.

The report coincided with the Israeli occupation’s announcement of the death of reserve soldier Alexander Globniov, 47, and the wounding of three others yesterday by drones. The occupation forces held Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, and Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir responsible.

The Israeli enemy admitted Monday that it has been unable to intercept the drones thus far, acknowledging that Hezbollah continues to operate “skilled cells” from southern Lebanon against its forces, according to the Walla website.

Two days ago, Israeli media quoted a soldier as saying regarding the resistance drones: “There’s nothing the army can do; a soldier is assigned only to monitor the skies.”

It is noted that the military media of the Islamic Resistance has published, more than once, videos documenting qualitative operations using attack drones targeting strategic sites and Israeli gatherings. This has strengthened the credibility of the resistance’s narrative, in contrast to the Israeli media’s continuous assertions of the failure of defense systems to detect or deal with these drones.
